Strolling from the River

After breakfast on Wednesday morning, I crossed the Tiber again, and passed the Via del Corso where the Basilica of Sts Ambrose and Charles is located.  Less than two football fields from the Basilica was the Church of the Holy Trinity.

About a quarter mile up the street from the Church of the Holy Trinity was the Spanish Steps, and at the top of the Spanish Steps was the Church of Triniti di Monti.

From Trinità dei Monti I went passed the Hotel that mom and I stayed at in 1996, to see the Church where we went to Daily Mass during that visit.  It was closed.

Then I went down Via XX Settembre to Santa Maria Della Vittoria,
which was a little more than a quarter mile away.  There were some Gypsy's begging at the entrance.  Most people go there to see Bernini's ecstasy of St Theresa.
