A quorum at the Forum


From the Piazza de Campidoglio the path went Southeast to the Via Monte Tarpeo, where there is an overlook of the ancient Roman Forum.

On the way back to my hotel I happened upon the church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, which is shown below.
 
 
 

St Catherine of Sienna is entombed here.  It's only a block or two from Piazza Rotondo. 
 
Here are two views from Ponte Cavour, a bridge near my hotel.  The first is downriver on the Tiber and you can see Chiesa Sacro Cuore del Suffragio.  The second is upriver and includes a view of a barge with a restaraunt on it.
